Dr. M grew up in Santa Ana, CA and graduated from Mater Dei High School. From there he went on to pursue a career in law enforcement, graduating from the Fullerton College Police Academy in 2004. This led him to a position as a bodyguard for the following 2 years. He returned to higher education after this and graduated from USC in 2010. Finally, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2014 and has been practicing since.
Although Dr. Martinez hasn't been in practice for decades, he has acquired plenty of experience from working at a high-volume clinic for the past 5 years, completing around 6,000 adjustments per year! However, he also has plenty of knowledge regarding chronic disorders and inflammatory conditions based on his experience with his patients. He also has no problem with adjusting large patients, with some of his past patients being 6'9" and weighing up to 400 lbs.
Dr. Martinez goes the extra mile for his patients. If they are nervous about being adjusted, he makes sure the visit goes as smooth as possible, explaining things and lightening up on the pressure if necessary. If patients prefer less forceful adjustments or the Activator, he goes lighter but has enough finesse to get a good adjustment nonetheless. No old school "tough guy" mentality here! Common sense is common here.
